VaultRent is built by VisualZero, a team of security experts who understand the critical importance of protecting sensitive property and tenant data. With years of experience in cybersecurity and software development, we recognized a gap in the market for property management software that prioritizes both functionality and security.
We build VaultRent with a simple goal: make landlord admin boring and reliable. We focus on practical workflows, Ontario-specific documentation needs, and privacy-minded defaults.
Today, VaultRent is focused on Ontario landlords and hands-on operators who want clean records and fewer surprises. We’ll expand carefully over time — without compromising reliability.
Why We Built This
VaultRent was born from firsthand experience managing rental properties in Ontario. As landlords ourselves, we lived through the pain points: endless spreadsheets, manually tracking late rent payments, struggling to stay compliant with RTA regulations, and worrying about document organization for potential LTB hearings.
We recognized a critical gap in the market—most property software is either too generic, not Ontario-first, or too bloated for small landlords. We wanted something simple, dependable, and privacy-minded by default.
So we built VaultRent to solve our own problems first: clearer payment history, less paperwork panic, and better organization when issues escalate. Once it worked for us, we knew other Ontario landlords would benefit too.
